Gesteco Joins UEB4WORK#2: The Event Bridging Sports and Careers

Alongside other local companies, over 30 technical and professional profiles are being sought

On Saturday, October 19th, the Cividale Sports Arena (PalaGesteco) will open its doors at 9:00 AM, welcoming six local companies from the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Now in its second edition, UEB4WORK continues to provide a valuable platform for connecting local businesses with professionals seeking new challenges in the technical and professional fields.

The event, organized by United Eagles Basketball, expands the number of participating companies this year, further strengthening the connection between sports and the job market.

In addition to Gesteco, Maddalena, MEP, and Faber, who were part of the 2023 edition, two new companies join the lineup: Zanutta and Pettarini.

These six business partners represent complementary sectors, offering over 30 job openings for profiles ranging from technical, IT, mechanical-electronic, environmental, and sustainability skills to production roles.

The goal of the event remains to create a bridge between job seekers and local companies, using sports as a catalyst for unity and growth. The first edition of UEB4WORK has already laid the foundation for this initiative, demonstrating how sports and business can share common values and visions.


Technical and Professional Roles Sought by Gesteco

Gesteco is specifically looking to fill the following positions:

Environmental and/or Sustainability Technicians

Candidates are needed for managing environmental and sustainability projects, from initiation to execution. Responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and control. A solid understanding of environmental regulations, operational phase design for delivering environmental services, and project coordination is required. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work both independently and in a team, problem-solving skills, and good interpersonal abilities are essential.

Technical Office Designers

Candidates for the technical office should have an electro-mechanical background with a solid understanding of industrial automation principles. They should be proficient in reading and creating technical drawings and able to work well in a team environment.

Maintenance and Installation Technicians

These roles involve maintaining and installing various types of air treatment systems, with training in the electromechanical field. Knowledge of installation techniques and routine maintenance is required. Candidates should be willing to travel, including overnight stays, typically 2-3 days a week.

Earthmoving machinery operators and drivers

We are seeking individuals with CDE, CQC, and ADR licenses, as well as experienced operators of earthmoving machinery (MMT) for demolition and construction site activities. A passion for and dedication to the work is essential.

Environmental Laboratory Technicians

We are looking for technicians to manage and coordinate laboratory analyses on environmental matrices. Requirements include knowledge of chemistry and basic laboratory analysis techniques, proficiency in Excel and Word, and experience with Fortran programming (preferred). Familiarity with quality systems and laboratory accreditation is also important.

General Site Workers

Candidates should have good manual skills and familiarity with general construction tools and equipment, along with the ability to work in a team. A minimum experience in construction or industrial sites is required. Applicants must have their own means of transportation.

Participation in the event is free and open to everyone, but we recommend registering via EventBrite.
