Gesteco receives two special mentions for "Virtuous Actions" - PErCoRSI FVG 2

The award ceremony of the project "PerCoRSI in FVG 2 - Paths for health, safety, and quality of work life in Friuli Venezia Giulia", led by IRES Fvg Social Enterprise, took place today in the regional Auditorium of Udine.

Several local companies participated in the regional project PerCoRSI FVG2 - Paths for health, safety and quality of working life in Friuli Venezia Giulia, an initiative co-financed by the European Social Fund in the context of the implementation of the Regional Operational Programme, with Ires Fvg Impresa Sociale as the lead partner, in collaboration with the Region.

Gesteco is proud to be part of that group of companies awarded for the “Virtuous Actions” carried out in the field of Health and Safety in the workplace, Corporate Social Responsibility, and company welfare.

In particular, we were awarded for the “Gruppo Luci Safety Week” project, now in its third edition, which will take place from October 25th to 29th, and for the “Chicchi di Sicurezza” project.

The ceremony took place this morning at the Auditorium of the Palazzo della Regione FVG, and it was also an opportunity for a discussion and an in-depth analysis with some privileged national and regional interlocutors, on the future challenges for the sustainability and quality of work that companies and regional entities will face in the coming years.

"The initiative aimed to disseminate knowledge and methodologies useful for promoting and enhancing a culture of safety in the workplace and, in general, the quality of work life - explains Chiara Cristini, Ires researcher and project manager -; in almost two years of activity, we involved over 1,100 workers, stakeholders, and companies in over 70 seminars and workshops held both on-site and online."

"The participation of small and large regional production companies in the initiative represents an important signal of the increasing sensitivity and attention of Fvg companies to the issues of safety and quality of work life - commented regional councilor for labor, training, education, research, universities, and family Alessia Rosolen -; with the changes to the regional labor law, we have given new impetus to the introduction of company welfare plans, the dissemination of the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility, and the culture of safety in the workplace, whose results are also reflected through the significant participation in this award and the quality of the practices presented."
